svolgerà la tavola rotonda
ENERGIA: FUTURO PROSSIMO VENTURO, organizzata dalla
Facoltà di Scienze Matematiche, Fisiche e Naturali dell’Università
di Genova e dal Genova Film Festival nell'ambito della
manifestazione X_Science: Cinema tra Scienza e Fantascienza.
L'evento è realizzato in collaborazione con l'Istituto
Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) e con Ansaldo Energia e grazie
al contributo di: Regione Liguria e di Genova Palazzo Ducale
Fondazione per la Cultura. Energia, una parola magica e, allo stesso tempo, sinonimo di grandi e pressanti problemi per il presente e il prossimo futuro. Ogni giorno riceviamo informazioni sulla "crisi energetica" legata a risorse in esaurimento e fonti di energia da perfezionare, sviluppare, inventare. Ogni giorno sentiamo parlare di "impatto ambientale", delle soluzioni che via via si prospettano passando dalle fonti rinnovabili di energia (solare, eolico, idrico, geotermico) alle fonti classiche definite "fossili" a causa delle materie prime utilizzate (carbone, petrolio). La Facoltà di Scienze M.F.N., in collaborazione con INFN e Ansaldo Energia S.p.A., ha deciso di aprire un tavolo di discussione in cui la situazione energetica attuale e le prospettive future siano trattate dai protagonisti nella realizzazione della ricerca e dell'industria con la popolazione. Tra le tematiche affrontate vi saranno presentazioni relative alle nuove forme di produzione di energia partendo dal “solare”, allo sviluppo di nuove centrali nucleari e al necessario bilanciamento tra impatto ambientale e produzione energetica. Noi crediamo che sia importante sapere e vivere in modo consapevole e maturo le scelte che riguardano il presente e il futuro prossimo venturo di tutti noi. Per questo motivo l'incontro è aperto al pubblico, gratuito e fortemente votato a creare un dialogo che possa portare luce su un tema tanto importante quanto controverso come l'energia. i relatori: Prof. Giancarlo Albertelli, Preside della Facoltà di Scienze M.F.N., Università di Genova (Chairman) Prof. Sandro Squarcia, Direttore Sezione INFN di Genova Ing. On Tuesday 24th May at 3pm the
round table “ENERGIA: FUTURO PROSSIMO
VENTURO” (Energy: the near future), organized by the
Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences faculty of the
University of Genoa and by the Genova Film Festival for the event
X_Science: Cinema from Science to Science Fiction, will take place
at the Sala Camino of Palazzo Ducale in Genoa. The event has been
organized in collaboration with the National Institute of Nuclear
Physics (INFN) and Ansaldo Energia, with the contribution of Regione
Liguria and Genova Palazzo Ducale Fondazione per la Cultura. Energy, a magic word and, at the same time, synonymous with big and pressing problems for the present and the future. Every day we receive information about the “energy crisis” relating to resources near exhaustion and other energy sources to improve, develop and invent. from renewable energy sources (solar, water, wind and geothermal energy) to the classic fuels defined as “fossil” thanks to the raw materials used (coal, oil). The Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences faculty of the University of Genoa, in collaboration with INFIN and Ansaldo Energia S.p.A., has decided to open this discussion table where the present situation of energy and its future perspectives will be treated by the leading lights in research and industry with the population. Some of the issues covered include new forms of energy production starting from “solar” energy, new nuclear plants and the necessary balance between environmental impact and energy production. We believe it is important to know and to be fully aware of the choices concerning the present and near future of all of us. For this reason, the meeting is open to the public with free admission and strongly aimed at setting up a dialogue that could cast light on such an important and controversial topic as energy.
